The Moores School Jazz Orchestra will be flying to Colorado tomorrow to perform at the Colorado Music Educators Association Convention. The convention is held at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. This the beginning of a long and active semester of jazz performances at Moores and elsewhere. After the convention we will perform with trumpeter Brian Lynch on February 20 (Moores Opera House) and then with saxophonist Bill Evans on April 21-22 (Moores Opera House/Miller Outdoor Theater). The year will end with a tour of the Chicago area. Whew!!!!!
