I don't have any details, but heard via Buzzy Smith that Thea passed this morning.

Becky (Conway) Williams requests prayers for the surviving family. Thea had cancer.

Truthfully, in all the years I worked with Thea on Danny Ward's band, I never was around a better singer or a finer lady. An amazing talent--I'm not sure she knew how gifted she was. I'm so sad she's gone and the prayers of my family are with Richard and all.

Wow, so sorry to hear this. I worked many gigs with Thea in the 80s, and can't say it better than Mike - "never was around a better singer or a finer lady."
Regrettably, I had not seen her in years - did not know she was ill.
