Background

Danielle Reich is a vocal artist based in Houston, Texas. Audiences welcome her light and easy approach to the Great American Songbook. She has been praised for a "sweet and passionate" interpretation of the standard repertoire similar to that of 1930s and 40s era singers.

The Danielle Reich Duo/Trio/Quartet plays unique arrangements of jazz standards, plus a few of their favorite folk, country, rock, & original tunes. Catch them Wednesdays at the King Biscuit Patio Cafe, Tuesdays at the Biscuit Jazz Jam, and frequently at Vintropolis Wine Bar, Ouisie's Table, and The Tasting Room Uptown Park. For specific dates, take a look at the performance calendar!

Danielle thrives on music of all kinds. She is a classically trained vocalist and has performed with the Houston Grand Opera chorus, as well as in productions at the University of Florida and Stetson University. She has been influenced by, studied, and performed with Houston musicians Joe LoCascio, Larry Slezak, Carol Morgan, Ray Wilson, and Thomas Helton. Her performance style is has been compared to that of Billie Holiday, Anita O'Day, Diane Schuur, and Diana Krall. But decide for yourself - come to a gig:
