Background

Hello...I am Ed Schaefer...as in Schaefer Guitars!  I don't know many in Houston, however, I do have about 10-12 players in the area that play my guitars.  We are in the process of moving to South Austin to open a repair shop where I will continue to build a few guitars, repair, teach luthery and guitar (if time permits!) so you guys that come see me from Houston will only have to drive another 30 minutes for a free Mixican meal!!!!  I will be at the Mike Nase Benefit with a Rhythmaster (18") that will be auctioned off!!!  See ya soon!  Ed

Today I am in Bastrop,TX, however, we are in the process of moving to South Austin to open a repair shop on music row. I will build a few custom guitars and repair...occasionally teach a luthery class and whatever else happens!!
