J. Sylvester moved from Memphis, Tennessee to Houston, Texas to further advance his career as a musician. Establishing standing ovations at venues such as Isaac Hayes, Soul Café, B.B. Kings, Gold strike Casino (Tunica, MS) and Sam’s Town (Shreveport, LA). Since his arrival, J. Sylvester has graced the stages of The Skybar, Red Cat Jazz Café, 57 West and Grooves. Performing with local legends such as Kyle Turner, Dean James, Joe Carmouche and The Werner Richmond Band.
