Background

Theo was born and raised just outside of Houston in Fort Bend County, and currently lives in the museum district. He showed an interest in music at an early age and has been playing for audiences since he was 12. Familiar with most styles of American music, his preference is of course jazz. Currently he is working as a freelance bassist, and has worked with various groups around Houston including The Freedom Jazz Trio, Free Radicals, and has been a member of Conrad Johnson's Orchestra. He is also involved in musical theatre and has had some work as a freelance actor. He has studied with local greats Joe Locascio, Dennis Dotson, and Bill Miller, as well as former University of North Texas bass instructor John Adams.
