Background

Instruments Played: bass and rhythm guitar

Focus: I desire to develop my skills in playing jazz and performing solos within a jazz ensemble setting. I regularly review music theory and am interested in working with other jazz musicians at the same level with me or above in reading charts, improving in a casual setting and performing in Downtown Houston venues and outside of Houston.

Additional Info: I have given music lessons for bass, guitar, and piano, but it is not something I want to continue doing. I have played with a number of talented Houston musicians and have a library of original and improvisational recordings. I  am seeking to join a jazz ensemble; a trio is ideal at this time.
