Play guitar in Houston's Solar Wind which recently released its 3rd CD, For Square, featuring Keith Vivens on bass, Mark Kinnear on drums and out doors, and Paul "Pablo" Conroy on keys, sax and bass clarinet. Also with special guest Gilbert Sedeno on Fender Rhodes.

www.echoeshouston.com After being "forced" to take piano lessons at age 8-10, started as a drummer at age 13 but got tired of playing with guitarists who couldn't tune their guitar or stop it from buzzzzzing so I eventually "switched" my main instrument to guitar (which I also started playing at age 13).
Took drum lessons from the late great Joe Raynor in the 80's. Took guitar lessons from Erich Avinger for a while back when he taught at Alvin and I also studied guitar with Josh Briar when I attended UH and played guitar (or at least tried) in the jazz band under Noe Marmelejo (85-87). More recently took lessons for a while from the incredible Paul Chester.
Life is short. Have fun and try not to get old too fast.
