Background

Tim Qualls has over 34 years professional experience, tours, studios, clubs, etc. When attending college, he received honors at the Wichita Jazz Festival, Honorable Mentions in the NAJE magazine, and was the reciepient of the Rusty Mayne Jazz Performance Scholarship when at USL in Lafayette, La. Most recently with Nervous Rex (contemporary and alternative rock)in Houston and Handpicked (original Christian rock). Blues, Jazz, and R&B are his favorites to play but loves all styles as long as it is done with heart and true conviction. His favorite saying is "If something is worth doing, it is worth doing to the best of your abilities, or don't do it at all."
