Background

First lessons were given by dance instructor at age 13.  Played with R&B groups in Pasadena and Houston in early 60s.  Road tour with Herb Remington 1965 and 1966.  Music career interupted by college, military service, life.  Back in business upon retirement from the working world.  Influencers were Ray Charles, Joe Morello, Buddy Rich, Jack Sperling, Steve Gadd,  Currently drummer for Overdrive, a classic rock/pop cover group in the Seabrook/Kemah area and I still play with Herb Remington on Sundays at United Methodist Church in Pealand 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
