Background

Jesse Simon, a Colorado native, moved to Houston in March of 2001 after graduating from the Manhattan School of Music. Since his arrival, Jesse has played with just about everyone in the Houston jazz community. He regularly appears with Pamela York, Bill Miller, Harry Shephard and Joe LoCascio as well as the Civic Jazz Orchestra. On the national level, Jesse has shared the stage with Barry Harris, Milt Hinton, Javan Jackson, Stefon Harris, and Jane Monheit as well as many others.
