Background

Specializing in that "Paul Jackson, Jr." style of rhythm playing. Electric, nylon string, and acoustic as well as mandolin, Dobro and 6 string banjo. I also have a fingerstyle acoustic guitar/cello duo with Houston Grand Opera cellist Erika Johnson playing a full repertoire of originals, Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Keaggy, jazz standards and more with a love of alternate tunings.  The duo (Touch the Strings) has been featured on NPR's Hearts of Space, Echoes, and Pulliing Strings radio programs. Check out our new guitar/cello CD release, "Touch The Strings" at www.touchthestrings.com.  Plenty of experience in musical theater (including some of the Broadway Series shows at the Houston Hobby Center as well as many others), CCM, big band (Richard Brown Swing Orchestra, etc.).  I'm always looking for something creative and interesting.
