Background

I'm a student at New York University, splitting my time between NYC and Houston. I've been a drummer/percussionist for the past 10 years. In Houston, I studied drumset with Troy Nicar and Tom Cummings and Latin percussion with Will Cruz. I'm currently studying Latin percussion with Chembo Corniel and Brazilian percussion with Ivo Araujo here in New York. I love all styles of music and have played everything from straight ahead jazz to new wave to rumba, so drop me a line if you'd like to play sometime.
