Mike Savoy is a teacher and professional musician performing on woodwinds.  He is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana where he attended McNeese State University and earned his Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education degree. He later attended the University of North Texas earning his Master of Music in Jazz studies.
