Background

Alto, soprano, tenor, and bari sax, flute, clarinet. Martin attended the University of Houston on a music scholarship as a flute major. Best known for his lead alto, he is a first-call for traveling shows. His CD's are: THE "SAX" THERAPIST, LANGFORD AND MARTINEZ by NOW records and OPEN WIDE (a compilation of original tunes) by Ephemeris Recordings. As leader of a six-piece jazz band THE BLUE GNUS, he provides in-school performances tracing the phenomenon of Jazz.
