Background

While not a resident of Houston anymore, he has earned credit (and lifetime legend status) for this 35+ years here. Shelly now runs the jazz program at the University of Southern California. In LA, he's earned entry into its prestigious studio scene. No surprise for anyone that ever knew him. His chops, perfect pitch, emmense musicianship and amazing attitude are exact what a little place like LA requires!
