Background

With an aunt singing opera, an older sister with her sights set on the theatre, a cousin singing and writing, a brother singing and acting, and a mother singing as well, it only seemed right that this young Puerto Rican take his place in the world as a multifaceted entertainer. As a singer, dancer, songwriter and all around performer Silas LaToison decided that there was no other option but to make music his first love. Like most children, Silas started out singing at home with his family. His mom noticed that his singing wasnt just that, but that his voice was a gift. She then made a choice to instill in Silas an appreciation for the vocal and performing arts, but it was his first trip to the recording studio with his older brother that made him want to learn more about this thing called music. Later in life ater seeing his aunt perform Puccini's opera, Madam Butterfly, he then made the decision to become an entertainer. Music was hid new career path and he knew with perseverance, practice, and determination his dream would someday become a reality. Thus far in his short but ongoing career he has had the honor of performing in arenas alongside such acts as Aerosmith, Beyonce Knowles, Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Mango Punch, AJ, and The Wreckshop records roster and international Latin superstars Majic Juan, Chuly, Adassa, Cuban Link, Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen. This young singer hopes and prays to have a life long career in the entertainment industry doing what he loves, and he hopes one day to be known as One of the greatest entertainers of all time.
