 VOCAL/GUITARIST--  GENE SCOTT WILL BE PERFORMING SOLO AT R-PLACE IN WASHINGTON TEXAS HYWY 105 AND FM1155 SATURDAYS 6PM-9PM. STARTING SEPT. 15TH AT THE NEW WUNDERBAR LOCATED AT ALABAMA AND DOWLING 7PM-11 PM  THURSDAY  NIGHT --GENE SCOTT SHOW FEATURING LOCAL ARTIST AND MY FAMILY--From Chicago ,Illinois ,started singing gospel music with  father Rev. Richard Junus Scott and oldest brother Eddie Richard Scott. Doing major concert tours throughtout mid-west,deep south and northern united states.Presently GENE SCOTT is  a Vocal guitarist ,playing with a drum machine.Mostly working Solo ,Private parties weddings,fashion shows and playing at upscale wine cellars.Released first solo cd June 16th 2005 .Loves Blind.Gene recorded all in my mind on Dr.Lonnie Smiths FUNK REACTION LP in 1977 New York City on the GROOVE MERCHANT RECORDS lable,produced by SONNY LESTER CEO. FEATURED VOCALST- ALL IN MY MIND -LESTER RADIO CORP. 515 madison Ave.RECORDED AT THE MEDIA SOUND STUDIO 353 WEST 57TH.Formed jazz/funk band SCOTTFREE with brothers Eddie and Ray Scott,guitar and drums /keys- George Adams in Kansas City Kansas 1969.Came to Houston in 1980.Started playing guitar and singing on fm1960 MARCH 1991. Working on second CD DONT GIVE UP.THE SCOTTFREE BAND PERFORMING FUNK ,Jazz, BLUES and SOUL .
