Background
Eve Woodard currently serves as instructor of Jazz Guitar and director of the Jazz Guitar Ensemble at Houston Baptist University. Also currently serves as conductor of the Wood's High School stage band in Houston, Texas.
Professional experience includes: Playing Guitar (electric, acoustic, and classical) and playing electric bass as a professional musician in Houston, Texas since 1980. Playing styles include jazz, popular, rock, country, R&B, gospel/worship, ethnic, and folk. Types of performances have varied from casual club dates to concerts and big name shows. Numerous recordings as studio musician, recording artist and producer.
Other highlights include: Featured jazz guitar soloist with Houston Symphony Orchestra. Featured jazz guitar soloist in "Great Guitars of Houston" Concert.
