Background

Vick performs with The Norman Zenteno Band,and also with the duo Ljazz,featuring a repertoire of original music and classics in the genres of Latin jazz,Brazilian jazz and his own brand of smooth jazz with Latin touch.

A music producer and composer,Vick operates his own JazTrax Studio,out of which he produces his own music and that of host of local artists. Presently, he is completing two CDs that will feature original music-Mi Destino, a collection of latin jazz-pop, and Smooth Stroking, a collection of smooth jazz with a Latin touch.Vick performs on all instruments in his recordings and for most of his clients'projects. He also composes melodies and lyrics and does arrangements for many of his clients.

Vick's music can be heard on ABC13's Viva Houston as the theme of the weekly show.His Tracks are featured in the film Buford Gomez, a "mockumentary"by Hollywood comic and screenwriter Rick Najera.
