The Fedora Lounge, located near the Rice Village in the upper Kirby district, can be found tucked in a corner of a cozy strip center. Enjoy a nice casual relaxing atmosphere that is decorated with portraits of jazz legends on the wall with friends and family. Featuring fine cocktails, wine and beer and occasional bites, it is one of the only places in all of Houston that hosts a weekly jazz jam session. Tuesday night starting at 7:30 enjoy a set of Art Fristoe performing solo piano followed by a dynamic set by his trio. The jam session begins at 9:30 and goes to midnight.

7:30 pm Art Fristoe opens up this fine evening with a great set of wonderful solo piano. Truly to be savored over a cocktail or a nice glass of red wine.
8:30 pm The Art Fristoe Trio begins! Joined by creative solid drummer Richard Cholokian and Tim Ruiz (bassist for Grammy winning band La Mafia) the trio takes off to perform a highly inventive, energetic set of original material, reworked jazz standards and familiar pop songs.
